Two run over by buses in separate accidents

KOCHI: Two persons were killed in separate accidents that occurred at Chittoor Road and Thevara bridge here on Thursday.
In the first incident that happened at around 7.30 a.m, a 29-year-old motorcyclist died after his vehicle was hit by a speeding private bus on the Thevara bridge. Police personnel at the Traffic (Mattanchery) station said that the deceased was Shemir, son of Abdul Shukur of Thavalaparambil house, Alappuzha. The driver and conductor of the private bus fled the scene immediately after the accident.
At Chittoor Road
Vince V. Joseph, 28, of Vithayathil house at Varapuzha died after he was run over by a bus at Chittoor road around 10.50 a.m.
