MLC polls: APPTA extends support

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Primary Teachers' Association (APPTA) has decided to support P. Sudhakar Reddy, B. Narasimhulu and V. Bala Subramanyam (for teachers' constituencies) and M. Geyanand and D. Setty Hanumantha Rao (for graduate constituencies) in the ensuing elections to the Legislative Council. APPTA State president Syed Showkath Ali said on Thursday that they had taken the decision based on the services rendered by the candidates to the teaching community.
