Long wait: K. Satyanarayana at Sangareddy Collectorate on Friday. SANGAREDDY: K. Satyanarayana is moving with a hope for the past few months. He expects at least one official among the scores at the Collectorate would be moved by his plight and help him. But his hopes were dashed once again on Friday. He was leading a happy life with his two children, Bikshapati and Chittibabu, studying in classes VII and VI respectively at the government high school in Jinnaram of Medak district. However, an incident that took place about an year back turned his life upside down. He met with an injury on the right leg, which led to formation of gangrene. Finally, it had to be removed to save his life and the real problems started for him from then on. Mr. Satyanarayana, who used to drive heavy vehicles and make a living, has no where to go. “I am literally begging,” he says. He came to the Collectorate with the help of a walker along with Chittibabu seeking help from the officials. But there was no one to hear him as all of them were busy with non-cooperation agitation. This was for the third time that he came to Collectroate seeking help from the officials but in vain. He is requesting for crutches in addition to pension under physically-challenged quota. “I met officers who expressed their inability to do any thing as all the employees are participating in the non-cooperation agitation. They asked me to come after the agitation subsides. I do not know when it will come to an end,” he says.
