Banner of revolt:JAC employees staging a dharna in front of the Collectorate building in Adilabad on Saturday. ADILABAD: The Adilabad unit of Joint Action Committee (JAC) of employees, teachers and workers on Saturday raised a banner of revolt against the JAC at regional level for ending the non-cooperation agitation. The latter was severely criticised for reaching an agreement with the government without consultations with JAC district units or primary members. Raising slogans against JAC chairman K. Swamy Goud and Telangana Non Gazetted Officers Union general secretary G. Devi Prasad for acting unilaterally, employees staged a demonstration in front of the Collectorate building. The also raised slogans of Jai Telangana. Adilabad JAC chairman M. Rajeshwar Reddy pointed out that the main demand of the agitating employees with regard to a Bill in Parliament for separate Telangana remained unaddressed. The district units of the JAC had actually no inkling about the discussions on other demands which the government conceded. A meeting of the JAC executive committee at Adilabad will take place on Sunday to decide on the future course of action. Majority were in favour of continuance of the non-cooperation until the Bill in Parliament was introduced.
