Suresh Babu stars for Young Stars

CHENNAI: Left-arm spinner M. Suresh Babu finished with match figures of nine for 75as Parry's crashed to an innings and 83-run defeat against Young Stars on the final day of the first division match at the SRMC ground on Saturday.

At IIT-Chemplast, promising off-spinner B. Aparajith's five-wicket haul ensured Indian Bank a slender 10-run first innings lead over Alwarpet in a drawn match.

S. Sriram century failed to help Globe Trotters gain the first innings lead over Jolly Rovers.

Ebenezer Marcus CA defeated Future Stars CA by five wickets and lifted the trophy in the Chennai Stars CA-super league under-12 cricket tournament here on Saturday.
