TIRUCHI: The Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK) will identify the constituencies it wishes to contest from at a meeting in Chennai on March 16. The party has been allotted three seats by the AIADMK. Addressing reporters here on Friday, M.H. Jawahirullah, State president, said the MMK preferred seats in different areas of the State instead of contesting from a cluster. It would contest on its symbol. Mr. Jawahirullah said the party's election manifesto would assure compulsory registration of Muslim marriages using jamaat records and five per cent reservation in government jobs. The party's district president Abdul Hakkim and secretary Abdul Rahim were present.
