Laidlaw clinches title

Udhagamandalam: Laidlaw Memorial School edged out Stanes Higher Secondary School by two runs and emerged champion of the NDCA under-13 inter-school cricket tournament for the Selma/Selai Gowder Memorial Rolling Trophy at the LMS grounds here on Friday.

The scores (final): Laidlaw MS 122 for nine in 30 overs (Armaan Mathews 30, M. Nithish Kumar 30, Mohammed Sameer three for 6) bt Stanes 120 (Mohammed Sameer 30, Tarun Aditya three for 17) .

Cricket tournament

The CIT Cricket Trophy tournament, organised by the Coimbatore Institute of Technology and the CIT Cricket Club, will be held at the CIT grounds from March 14 to 19. The six-day tournament features 14 colleges from in and around Coimbatore.

Kalaivani rolling trophy

Kalaivani College of Technology will conduct the Kalaivani Rolling Trophy tournament in football and volleyball at its campus in Coimbatore from March 14 to 16. — Principal Correspondent
