FATEHPUR: A man was killed and his son injured when four policemen allegedly set afire their house for not opening the door, police said on Friday. Lalta Prasad Dixit (55) and his son Anil (24) were sleeping in their house at Chakgazipur village in Ghazipur on Thursday night when a police team led by outpost in-charge Shiv Prasad knocked at their door, SP Ram Bharose said. On finding their calls unanswered, the policemen set the house on fire killing Dixit on the spot and critically injuring his son. The police team was carrying out search operations to trace a couple who eloped. To defuse tension prevailing in the village, four policemen including the outpost in-charge Shiv Prasad have been suspended. - PTI
