Disqualification plea

KOLAR: The Executive Officer of the Kolar Taluk Panchayat has submitted a report to the State Election Commission in connection with a plea to disqualify Nagamma from the panchayat. He has initiated the move on a complaint lodged by District Congress Committee president M.L. Anilkumar against Ms. Nagamma for allegedly violating the party's whip in the panchayat president's election. Ms. Nagamma voted in favour of an independent candidate in the elections, he said.
