Retired police officer summoned

PUDUCHERRY: Principal District and Sessions Judge T. Ramasamy on Friday issued summons to a retired Superintendent of Police, who was the prime investigating officer in the Sankararaman murder case, to appear before the court for examination on March 21.

The summons was issued after Sakthivel failed to appear for examination on Thursday.

The judge issued arrest warrant against realtor J. Murugesan, who was dealing with land transactions of the mutt, and also directed the police to produce him for examination on March 21.
