Probe ordered into accident at railway gate

HYDERABAD: The railway authorities have ordered an inquiry into the accident at the unmanned level crossing gate near Vikarabad in which the Purna-Hyderabad passenger train rammed a car, killing three persons and grievously injuring two others on Sunday.
According to a South Central Railway press release here on Monday, the Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division, has ordered a departmental railway enquiry into the accident which occurred between Vikarabad and Sadasivpet Road.
A committee comprising Junior Administrative Grade Officials will hold the enquiry on March 18 at 10.00 hrs at the Divisional Railway Manager's Conference Hall, Sanchalan Bhavan, Secunderabad.
