Tehri MLA gets a warm welcome

DEHRA DUN: The Congress MLA from Tehri, Kishore Upadhyay, who had begun an indefinite hunger strike in the well of the Uttarakhand Assembly on Monday and gave it up on an assurance from the Speaker, was accorded a warm welcome by colleagues on Tuesday.

Mr. Upadhyay was assured that Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had agreed to sort out his grievances about development of Tehri district.
