AEPC to organise fashion forecast seminar on March 21

The event will be held in association with Promostyle, Paris Participation fee for the seminar is fixed at Rs 1,000 per person
Tirupur: The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) will organise a fashion forecast seminar for the spring/summer collection for 2012 on March 21 in an attempt to give value-addition to the apparels made from Tirupur cluster.
AEPC senior director D. G. Reddy said that the seminar would be targeting merchandisers, staff from fashion design departments at the textile units and market consultants.
Topics
The forecast seminar would cover topics related to segments like men's wear, casual apparels, formal wear and woven items apart from giving fashion forecast trends covering colours and fabrics, among others.
“We are holding the event in association with Promostyle, Paris, one of the world's premier trend forecasters,” he said.
Renowned fashion consultants, Delphne Lonjou and Faustine Baranowski, would address the participants.
Interactive session
For the benefit of the participants, the organisers had planned an interactive session with the experts to understand the global trends.
Registration
Interested participants should register their names at Hotel Poppys, the venue of the event, at 9.30 a.m., Mr Reddy said.
The participation fee was fixed at Rs 1,000 per person.
