Golden Threads holds Eagles

KOCHI: Golden Threads and Eagles FC played out a 1-1 draw in the Wayna Cochin Premier Football League at the Maharaja's Stadium here on Wednesday.

Saiwinder Singh gave Eagles the lead in the 10th minute while Najesh struck the Threads' equaliser in the 34th in the Pool ‘B' game.

Perera fired in four goals (10th, 28th, 50th and 77th) as Josco FC thrashed Bolghatty Footballers 4-1 in a Pool ‘A' match on Tuesday.

Renjith netted Bolghatty's consolation goal in the 75th minute. — Special Correspondent
