VISAKHAPATNAM: Film actors Jagapthi Babu and Charmee added glitter to the inaugural of Jayabheri Maruti, a new dealer of Maruti Suzuki cars who set up shop beside the National Highway at Maddilapalem on Wednesday. Scores of youth gathered outside the showroom to catch a glimpse of the stars from close range. Noted film director Dasari Narayana Rao, who was the chief guest at the inaugural function, praised Jayabheri Group Promoter and film actor Murali Mohan for ensuring quality and reliability in his ventures. He recalled the phenomenal growth of Maruti cars. Actor Jagapathi Babu described Maruti as his favourite car ever since his days in Visakhapatnam city. He hoped that Mr. Murali Mohan would also establish a film studio in the city. Bubbly Charmee drew the attention of the gathering when she began with the greeting ‘andariki namaskaram' and went on to add that she had learnt the greeting from director Dasari Narayana Rao. Explaining that the name ‘Jayabheri' itself meant success, she recalled how she had moved into Jayabheri Apartments in Hyderabad seven years ago and continued to live there. Mr. Murali Mohan commended Ms. Charmee for shifting to Hyderabad and living there along with her parents, when many other heroines from Mumbai preferred to return to their native place on completion of the shooting schedule. A first Regional Manager of Maruti Udyog Limited Manohar Bhat said that Maruti was the first car manufacturing company in the country to cross the one-crore production mark on Tuesday. This was made possible by a strong dealer network and the reliability of the car. Mr. Murali Mohan said that Jayabheri Automotives was proud to open the showroom at a time when Maruti Udyog crossed a landmark and added that his dealership would strive to make a significant contribution to the sale of two-crore cars by the company. President of GITAM University M.V.V.S. Murthy, Bharatiya Janata Party leader K. Haribabu and Regional Sales Manager (AP) of Maruti Udyog Srinivas were among those who spoke.
