Youth arrested

HYDERABAD: Police on Wednesday arrested a youngster, Syed Younus, who acquired a country-made firearm to eliminate another youth, Mukarram, as the rivalry between the two at the gym turned into enmity.

He acquired a country-made firearm through a friend Waseem of Uttar Pradesh and was waiting for an opportunity to attack Mukarram.

On a tip-off, the Commissioner's Task Force caught him and seized the weapon.
