THANJAVUR: The flying squad of Thanjavur headed by Muthulakshmi, Revenue Divisional Officer, carried out vehicle check on Thanjavur-Trichy road and removed unauthorised election campaign materials at various places on Thursday. The squad removed graffiti on public walls and roads at Alakudi. They pulled down the flex boards there. At Kalvirayanpettai, graffiti on bridge and temple walls were removed. A flex board and banner kept at the bus stand at Reddypalayam were removed. Liquor bottles were seized from a TASMAC vehicle.
