Tricksters get away with gold worth Rs. 20 lakh

Bangalore: Two tricksters stole gold jewellery worth Rs. 20 lakh which was being transported to one of the branches of Chemmanur Jewellers here on Wednesday morning.
An employee and a driver were transporting the precious cargo from their outlet on Commercial Street to Kamanahalli. Within a few minutes, a motorbike caught up with them and the riders told them fuel was leaking from their car.
When both got out to check, the two men on the motorbike made away with the bag.
A case has been registered in the Fraser Town police station.
The police suspected an inside job as this was the first time that the employee and the driver travelled without a security guard.
