Privilege notice against The Hindu

NEW DELHI: Communist Party of India MP Gurudas Dasgupta on Thursday submitted a privilege notice to the Lok Sabha Speaker against The Hindu following its story based on the WikiLeaks expose.

Terming his move a “reverse googly,” Mr. Dasgupta said the notice, while asking the newspaper to authenticate what it reported, was to compel the government to come before the Privileges Committee to prove its innocence.
