VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindu Education Plus in association with the Vanguard Business School will conduct a workshop ‘Management education as a career' for MBA aspirants at VUDA Children's Theatre on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The session will be useful for businessmen, young entrepreneurs and students, who will like to pursue an MBA degree. The experts will speak on topics such as ‘what is an MBA', ‘why and when should you do an MBA', and ‘how to choose the right institute or B-School for your management programme'. The two-hour session will also include business quiz and discussion on five business case studies. The case studies willtouch upon areas such as human resource, marketing, finance and operations, and IT. The workshop will conclude with an interactive session with the experts. The speakers include A.R.K.S. Srinivas and Rahul Reddy, both alumni of IIM- Calcutta, and director of TIME J. V. Murthy. Bangalore-based Vanguard Business School was started by a group of IIM and XLRI alumni with a strong background in corporate management and education. The college offers dual certification (PGPM + MBA). The session is open to all MBA aspirants and there is no registration charge.
