Organisation's State president has handed over the house to a widow VISAKHAPATNAM: The Sri Satya Sai Seva Samiti of Ukkunagaram constructed a house and donated it to a poor widow. State president of the organisation S.G. Chalam handed over the house, “Sri Satya Sai Krupasshrayam” to Kamminana Chandravali at Ginnivanipalem near Visakhapatnam Steel Plant recently. The house was constructed under the Sri Satya Sai Aaaswatha Gruha Nirmana Pathakam and was the first of its kind under the service activities of the Seva Organisation in the district. The beneficiary, who was leading a difficult life with her two children, after her husband died some time ago, lost her thatched house in a major fire accident during December last. The Ukkunagaram branch of the Seva Samiti came to her rescue and made the house ready in three months. New utensils Mr. Chalam also presented new utensils to her. District president G.K.P. Mukunda Rao handed over Amrutha Kalasam (monthly provisions) and district coordinator of Sevadal Ammaji gave new clothes to Ms. Chandraavali and her children. She received household articles from district Sevadal coordinator D. Raghava Rao and convenor of city Seva Samiti D.S.N. Murthy. Convenor of Ukku Nagaram Seva Samiti K.S.N. Raju explained about the project.
