Workshop on sports-related injuries
ALUVA: The Union Christian College's Department of Physical Education, in association with the Kerala Basketball Association, will be organising an UGC-sponsored one-day workshop on sports-related injuries at the T.B. Ninan Hall here on Monday.
Dr. Binu George Varghese, Head of MG University's School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. George Mathew, Assistant Professor at Thiruvananthapuram's SAI-LNCPE, and Dr. P. Arshad of the Daisman Sports Centre in Kondotty will be among those who will present papers.
Dr. T. Thomas Philip, the UC College Principal, will inaugurate the day-long event and Dr. Tony Daniel, Lecturer, IAAF, will be the chief guest at the closing function. — Special Correspondent
