KOLKATA: A team of the Election Commission of India led by Chief Election Commissioner S. Y. Qureshi will be here on Tuesday to review arrangements for the upcoming Assembly polls in West Bengal. The six-phase elections in the State begin on April 18. Mr. Quraishi will be accompanied by, among others, Election Commissioners V. S. Sampat and H. S. Brahma. They will hold meetings with nine recognised political parties and also meet with district elections officers, the superintendents of police and District Magistrates during its two-day stay in the city, a State Election Commission official said here on Monday. Meetings will also be held with the State's Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, Director General of Police and the Commissioner of Police.
