Student commits suicide
Tirupur: An engineering student allegedly committed suicide at Kundadam in the early hours of Monday.
The police said N. Manikandan, a student of an institution at Karur, consumed poison to end his life as he was disturbed with the low marks scored in the exam.
In another incident, R Saroja (46) drank poisonous liquid to kill herself at Kunnathur owing to severe stomach pain.
Accidents
Four persons were killed in separate road accidents on Sunday. While two accidents occurred in Palladam, the other incidents took place at Uthiyur and Udumalpet.
