Director of Vanguard Business School ARKS Srinivas VISAKHAPATNAM: The Hindu Education Plus in association with Bangalore-based Vanguard Business School conducted a workshop for MBA aspirants at VUDA Children's Theatre here on Tuesday. Addressing the students, the Director of Vanguard Business School Rahul Reddy pointed out that the selection of the right B-School along with the right programme is essential for success in the field of management. The Director of TIME J.V. Murthy in his address, urged aspirants to do a little homework before joining a B-School. “It is always advisable to visit the college and have a direct interaction with the faculty and the students studying there, to asses the strengths and weaknesses of the college,” he said. Assistant Collector and alumni of IIM-Ahmedabad Kartikeya Mishra gave a brief insight into life in a top B-School, and how the curriculum and ambience shapes up an individual. He pointed out that the peer group in a top class B-School is not only of quality but also vibrant, creative, and value additive. The Director of Vanguard Business School ARKS Srinivas informed that the B-School was founded by eight professionals and all are alumni from IIMs and XLRI. “The unique feature of the school is that it has a 50-member strong group of mentors from the industry, and these mentors would provide the critically needed practical knowledge for the Vanguard students all through the two-year period,” he said. The college offers dual certification (PGPM + MBA).
