Visuals of springtime
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE: The colours of the season have inspired two artists to come up with an exhibition of their works, Visuals of Springtime, at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath here. On display are paintings aptly expressing all that spring stands for — a riot of colours.
The exhibition, which opened on March 21 and is on till March 27, has works by artists Rameshan Kaniyankandy and P.V. Keshavan on display.
Mr. Kaniyankandy has three decades of experience with a background of applied art and photography. The artist, with 30 years of experience has had his works picked for special editions and calendars of India Post. In the current group of paintings, geometric forms dance their way through linear patterns that are stretched out to resemble threads coming out of a loom.
The exhibition is on till Sunday at Gallery 1, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Kumarakrupa Road, from 10.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
