Former Minister promises water schemes

Tiruvannamalai: K.Pichandi, former Minister and DMK candidate for Kilpennathur constituency, has promised voters of the newly created constituency that he will try and execute two Combined Drinking Water Schemes, one for the villages of Thurinjapuram block and another for 20 villages of Tiruvannamalai block included in his constituency, if elected.

He unveiled his poll promises for his constituency at a press conference here on Tuesday.

Mr.Pichandi said that he almost fulfilled the civic requirements of Kilpennathur and Tiruvannamalai blocks which were part of Tiruvannamalai constituency before delimitation, as he was Tiruvannamalai MLA since 1989, barring 1991-96 period.
