Six DMDK activists arrested

HOSUR: Six workers of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam were arrested when they staged a demonstration in front of the Gandhi Statue on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Hosur on Tuesday. This was in protest against the nomination of A. Johnson as the party candidate. They wanted Chandran, district secretary of the party, as the candidate for Hosur Assembly constituency.

A case under sections 143, 188 of IPC were registered against them.
