Sandeep shines
NEW DELHI: Sandeep Raj Kaushik's fine all-round performance propelled L.B. Shastri Club to a 71-run win over Turf Academy in the M.K. Group cricket tournament at the Mohan Meakin ground on Tuesday. The victory ensured Shastri Club a place in the semifinals.
The scores: L.B. Shastri 278 for six in 45 overs (Sandeep Raj Kaushik 72 not out, Aditya Kaushik 68, Sakib Alam 44, Shakti Singh 36, Vijay Chauhan two for 41) bt Turf Academy 207 for eight in 45 overs (Ankit Maini 50, Dhruv Shorey 34, Rohit Jhanjhariya 32, Ramesh Prasad four for 42, Sakib Alam two for 28, Sandeep Raj Kaushik two for 35) .
