Over 100 ‘impersonators' held at exam centre

AZAMGARH (U.P.): More than 100 youths were on Wednesday arrested for allegedly impersonating examinees in the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Secondary Board Examinations, a senior officer said here.

During the mathematics examination in the morning, when admit cards were being checked it was found that 104 youths were appearing on behalf of other examinees at the Harish Chandra Singh Inter College Chauri Khas, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Amar Nath Rai said.

The ‘impersonators' were later released on a personal bond. — PTI
