‘Rs. 50,000-cr. investments expected'

NANJANGUD (MYSORE DISTRICT): Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has said the State is expected to get investments of over Rs. 50,000 crore at the global investors meet for agribusiness later this year.

Mr. Yeddyurappa was speaking after inaugurating the new culinary unit of the Nestle India plant here on Wednesday.

He said a memorandum of understanding had been signed with Nestle S.A. for the plant during the Global Investors Meet in Bangalore last year and pointed out that the unit had come up in less than 10 months.
