KADAPA: Roads and Buildings officials inspected the railway overbridge, adjoining road and drainage canals in Yerraguntla on Thursday and pulled up the contractor, Madhusudana Rao, for certain lapses in construction. The contractor gave a written undertaking to Roads and Buildings DE Bhaskar Reddy and AE Srinivasulu Reddy that he will rectify within two months lapses such as the road being on a lower plane than the drainage canals, thereby resulting in overflowing of drain water on to the road. Yerraguntla sarpanch S. Raviprasad Reddy and vice-sarpanch Suryanarayana Reddy were present.
