Management fest from today

Belgaum: Belgaum city-based Global Business School will organise a two-day management fest, ‘Drishti-2011', from Friday at Millennium Gardens in Tilakwadi.

Management students from Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa are expected to participate in the event. More than 15 teams comprising undergraduate and postgraduate students will participate in different events.

Vijay Pusalkar, chairman and managing director of Indo Schottle Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd., Pune, will inaugurate the event. M.S. Subhas, dean and director of Kousali Institute of Management Studies, Karnataka University, Dharwad, will deliver the keynote address.

Seema Khorana Patra, Commissioner of Income Tax, Belgaum, will deliver the valedictory address on Saturday.

The theme for this year's event is ‘Human capital - the quest for excellence' and the deliberation emerging out from four events will focus on the importance of human capital in the corporate world.

A cultural programme named ‘Taal' has also been organised, wherein the students will exhibit their talent, according to R.R. Kulkarni, director, Bharatesh Global Business School, here on Wednesday.
