Chitradurga: Vice-Chancellor of Davangere University S. Indumati has said that the university has asked the Government to provide a 10-acre plot to build sports facilities and a playground on its campus.
Inaugurating the Davangere University inter-college athletic meet at the Government Science College ground here on Thursday, she said that at present the university did not have facilities to conduct sports activities.
