NASA honour for Indian entrepreneur

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has presented its highest honour for Quality and Performance, the George M. Low Award, to Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA), a company based in Virginia whose CEO is Renjith Kumar hailing from the State capital.

The AMA is jointly owned by Mr. Kumar and President Hans Seywald.

It has got the prestigious award for its outstanding contribution to the advancement of excellence in national space programme in USA. The award was presented at NASA's eighth annual project management challenge at Long Beach, California recently.

An alumnus of the Loyola School (1977) and College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Kumar, a gold medallist during his graduation in 1985, holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from Virginia Institute of Technology, USA.
