Inauguration of school building tomorrow

GUNTUR: A school building constructed by the Rotary Club of Guntur with the financial assistance from the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) and several IT firms at Repalle would be opened on Saturday.

Minister for Prohibition and Excise M. Venkata Ramana Rao will be the chief guest. Rajyalakshmi Vadlamani, district governor RI District 3150, will be the guest of honour. Project coordinator and past governor, RI District 3150, Ravi Vadlamani, said in a press release that the desire to construct a school building in Repalle, which was severely affected by floods in October 2009, was taken up when a group of IT professionals visited the town . The building was constructed at a cost of Rs.40 lakh.
