RTC's offer to students

VIJAYAWADA: Students using bus passes can now travel in express and metro express buses also in Krishna district by paying a nominal additional amount with effect from Friday.

APSRTC Regional Manager K.V.R.K. Prasad said in a release on Thursday that students in the rural areas could travel in express buses in addition to ‘Palle Velugu' on the route for which they obtained a pass, by paying an additional fee of Rs.5. Students in Vijayawada could travel by metro express services as well by paying an additional fee of Rs.7.
