Revenue inspector suspended

BANGALORE: M.N. Sannakenchaiah, second division revenue inspector working in the Hegganahalli subdivision of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been suspended on charges of dereliction of duty.
According to a BBMP release, Mr. Sannakenchaiah had deviated from the procedure during tax collection while he was serving as revenue collector at Mathikere Subdivision.
Direction
He was directed to hand over the assignment to another revenue collector, and was relieved from the subdivision. However, Mr. Sannakenchaiah did not obey the direction, according to a press release.
The BBMP Deputy Commissioner (Administration), in an order, suspended Mr. Sannakenchaiah, for his failure to hand over the assignment.
