Tax payment

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation, to facilitate payment of tax, water charges and other dues, will keep its tax collection counters open on all working days and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. till March 31.

According to a release, Commissioner Anshul Mishra said all city residents should pay without fail their tax for the second half-year of the 2010-11 financial year.

The Corporation had started preparing a list of defaulters and was engaged in the process of severing water connection. To avoid disconnection, the residents should make use of the opportunity, the release added.
