HOSUR: All the 21 office-bearers of the Krishnagiri district committee of the INTUC submitted resignation on Thursday in protest against what they termed as step-motherly attitude shown towards the organisation while choosing candidates in the district.
K.A. Manoharan, district president and a former MLA, said not even a single constituency was allotted to the organisation, which had over 10 lakh voters in the state. The resignation letters were faxed to the State secretary and president, he said.
Those submitted the resignation included R. Kuppusamy (general secretary), P. Somu (treasurer), G. Perumal and G. Muniraj (vice-presidents), J. Veeramanikandan and M. Rajendran (secretaries).
