Sports meet at VVIT held

GUNTUR: The prize distribution function of the Annual Sports meet of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT), Nambur was held on Saturday. Andhra Cricket Association Director (Operations) and former India wicket keeper M.S.K. Prasad participated as the chief guest. On the occasion, Mr. Prasad said he was proud to belong to Guntur which is not only famous for tobacco and chillies but also for its traditions and culture.

Saying that he could earn his place in the Indian team with sheer hard work and the right attitude, he exhorted the students to participate in sports. VVIT Chairman Vasireddy Vidya Sagar felicitated the faculty members who coordinated the sporting and cultural activities during the annual sporting event. VVIT Director SRK Paramahamsa, Principal Y Mallikarjuna Reddy took part in the function.
