Surgeon hailed for service to needy

Selfless:S. Khairunnisha being felicitated at a function in Pudukottai recently.
PUDUKOTTAI: Honouring S.Khairunnisha, a civil surgeon attached to Government Ranee's Hospital, formed the highlight of ‘International Women's Day', observed by the Youth Red Cross of His Highness The Rajah's College here recently.
P.Sethuraman, Principal (in-charge), said Ms.Khairunnisha has been imbibing a sense of confidence into pregnant women afflicted with HIV. Courtesy in conjunction with commitment and conviction had been appreciated by them. S.Viswanathan, District Organiser of Youth Red Cross, introduced Ms.Khairunnisha. The surgeon spoke on the pleasure she derived through service to the needy and appealed to students to develop the habit of rendering a selfless service
