Leopard killed by villagers

Rae Bareli: A leopard was killed by villagers after it attacked and injured eight persons, including a Forest Department official, in Saraini area of the district here over the weekend.

Officials said on Saturday that the leopard attacked some persons working in the fields in Lakhai village, leaving them injured. Agitated over this, a group of local residents attacked the leopard with sticks, killing it on the spot. - PTI
