Market committee supervisor in ACB net
HYDERABAD: Anti Corruption Bureau officials caught Supervisor of Agricultural Market Committee of Tenali in Gutur district, G.H. Elhanan, red-handed when he was accepting Rs. 15,000 bribe from a complainant seeking an official favour.
According to a press release, the official was trapped near SBI main branch at Kothapeta in Tenali.
The official had demanded the bribe to complete the assessment of account book and to file the assessment report in the court to withdraw a case file against the father of the complainant.
The tainted amount was recovered and the official arrested. He will be produced in the ACB Court at Vijayawada.
