SBH business crosses Rs. 1.5 lakh crore

HYDERABAD: The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has crossed the golden threshold of Rs.1.5 lakh crore in total business.
The bank, with its total deposits of Rs.88,937 crore and advances of Rs.63,470 crore, added the 1,301st branch to its network when its Managing Director Renu Challu inaugurated the latest branch at Kapra.
Kapra branch becomes the 144th branch of Secunderabad Zone, a leading zone of the bank with a business level of Rs.12,310 crore. The bank is planning to open 230 branches this year.
The bank, which has registered growth in all the retail banking segments, is focussing on increasing credit flow to MSME and agriculture sectors as they are the thrust areas.
