Toddler continues to be critical

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: The toddler, who was grievously injured when the parapet wall of a neighbouring building under construction collapsed on her day-care centre at Bakshi Garden in Cottonpet in the city on Monday, continues to be critical.

Three-year-old Narmada, in the intensive care unit at the state-run Vani Vilas Hospital, is now under the care of the neurosurgeon due to spinal chord injuries, hospital sources said.

The other children admitted along with her remain in the paediatric ward.

Thirteen children, all aged between three and six, were injured along with the nanny who ran the illegal centre.
