PUTTAPARTHI: The condition of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who was admitted to the hospital for lung and chest congestion, was stable on Tuesday after doctors implanted a pacemaker, said Dr. A.N. Safaya, Medical Director of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Prasanthinagaram.

The 85-year-old Baba was hospitalised on Monday after he complained of slowing heart beat and giddiness. According to sources, a team of doctors is expected to arrive from Bangalore to examine him.
