SDM Institute students win laurels at ‘ACME'

MYSORE: Students of the SDM Institute of Management Development here have won accolades in various competitions in which they participated recently.

Arun Kumar, Carl Rodney Fernandes and Debottam Saha won the second prize for their business plan at the national-level ‘ACME 2011', a national-level business plan contest organised by the EBET Group of Institutions, Kangayam, Tamil Nadu, according to a release here.

At ‘iATROSCAN', a business plan contest hosted by the Department of Management Studies, Adhiyamaan College, Hosur, Apoorva M.S. and Arunkumar S. won the first prize, while Carl Fernandes and Debottam Saha won the second prize.

HR event

Aparna G. and Sumasree B.S. came first in the HR event, while Anirudh Sonthalia, Vijet Shetty and Manisha Giria won the second prize in the marketing event at the festival hosted by Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore.

At the fest conducted by BITS Pilani, Goa campus, Raghunandan V.R., Sanjay Somashekar, Praveen Sharma and Pooja Mishra won the second prize in the marketing event, the release added.
