Change in load shedding schedule from today

TIRUCHI: The load shedding schedule would be changed on rotational basis as per the following schedule with effect from April 1, according to a press release issued by the Operation and Maintenance of the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation.

In Tiruchi Metro Circle limits, covering the city, the load shedding period would be shifted to the next two hour slot from the existing slot in different parts of the city. The following would be the load shedding hours in other parts of the city and its suburbs:

Noon to 2 p.m. in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Ambikapuram sub-station.: Ariyamangalam, SIT, Golden Rock, Ambikapuram, Rail Nagar, Nehruji Nagar, Rajappa Nagar, Kamaraj Nagar, Malaiyappa Nagar, Kattur, Kailsah Nagar, Pappakurichi, Sakthi Nagar, Kalkandarkottai, Alathur, Tirunagar, Adaikala Annai Nagar, Ponmalaipatti, Ponneripuram, Kizhamullaikudi, Senthannerpuram, Sankiliyandapuram, Keezhapudur and Khajapettai.

Noon to 2 p.m. in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Tiruverambur sub-station: Melakumaresapuram, SIDCO, Bharathipuram, Tiruverumbur area, Kakkan colony, Bhelpur, Sozhamanagar, Vengur, Industrial estate, Sozhamadevi, Malaikovil area, Koothappar, D. Nagar, Navalpattu, Kiliyur and Pathalapettai.

10 a.m. to noon in the areas under the jurisdiction of Tiruverambur sub-station: Poolankudi, Suriyur, Kumbakudi, Pazhankanankudi, Kandhalur, Burma Colony, MIET, Guntur, BHEL Township area, Tiruvenkata Nagar, Jai Nagar, Ganesapuram, Nehru Nagar, Ayanputhur and Ilandhapatti.

Noon to 2 p.m. in the areas under Srirangam sub-station: Singarkoil area, Ambedkar Nagar, Panchakarai, Ragavendra Garden, Arulmurugan Garden, Azhagiripuram, Checkpost, Akilandeswari Nagar extension, Jambukeswarar Nagar, North Inner street, Vibuthi Prakaram, Kannnimarthoppe, Keezhakondaiyampettai, Bypass Road, Tagore street, Malligaipuram, Tiruvalarcholai, Panaiyapuram, Uthamarseeli, Kilikoodu, Trunk Road up to Venkatesa Theatre.

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the areas under the jurisdiction of Srirangam sub-station: Srirangam, Ammamandapam Road, Veereswaram, Renga Nagar, Subramaniyapuram, Gandhi Road, Periyar Nagar, Moolathoppe, Melur, Vasantha Nagar, R.S. Road, Sannidhi street, Melakondaiyampettai, Akilandeswari Nagar, Srinivasa Nagar, Bharathi Nagar, Mambazha Salai and Thathachariar garden.
