‘Ugadi puraskars' for eminent persons today

VIZIANAGARAM: ‘Trisul Samacharam', an evening daily, on the occasion of its third anniversary, has instituted ‘Ugadi puraskars'. Managing Director of the daily V.S.N. Kumar told correspondents that playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Ghazal Srinivas, lyricist D. Rama Jogaiah Sastry, industrialist Narayanam Nageswara Rao, professor in Telugu M. Dattatreya Sastry of Visakhapatnam, Lok Sabha member Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi, businessman Gurana Sadhu Rao, philanthropist Datla Vijayarama Raju, , and recipient of Bharat Sevak Ratna award Sufi Mohammed Atavulla Sharif Sha Taj Qadari Baba, would be awarded ‘Ugadi Puraskars' at Gurajada Kalabharati here on Saturday evening. Minister for Transport Botcha Satyanarayana will participate in the celebrations.
